From Wiki

In most setups, the cookie domain and cookie path do not need to be modified.

However if your MediaWiki and vBulletin installations reside on different subdomains (e.g. forums.domain.com and wiki.domain.com), then the cookie domain has to be changed in both systems.

If these settings are not changed as indicated, unexpected behavior during login/logout may be experienced.

In order for vbWiki Pro's user login integration to work in multi-subdomains setups, the cookie domain has to be changed to .domain.com

Another setting that affects the sharing of cookies is the Cookie Path. The Cookie Path should be set to / in most setups (which is the default value in both vBulletin and MediaWiki installations).
