NuLook is highly customizable add-on for vBulletin that enhances your forum's look and feel.

NuLook Features

  • Color code thread listings based on thread status (popular/hot, posted, etc)
  • Color code posts based on different criteria.
  • Posts can be shown using the standard table based postbit, or the more user friendly NuLook provided 'bubble' postbit.
  • The colors for each post can be configured in multiple ways:
    • Based on usergroups (e.g. Moderators or Premium Members could have their posts on a different color from the rest.)
    • You can enable users (or a set of users) to customize their colors from their User CP (see screenshot here). This is the ultimate personalization for your members.
    • You can select a single color (all posts with the same color) or you can specify multiple colors.
    • You can let NuLook pick from a set of colors, and show each post in a different color (e.g. all posts for one user with the same color).
    • Or, you can use a combination of the above methods.
  • Alternate postbit templates. NuLook adds the ability to have alternating postbit templates.
  • By using the postbit template installed with NuLook you can attain a Gaia Online like look and feel.
  • NuLook changes the way threads are read, from a linear table of posts found in most vBulletin installations into a more conversational layout, using 'talk bubbles' (as found in comics). This is optional, and can be turned off in the Admin CP.
  • More importantly, NuLook does not add any extra images, flash or java applets.
  • NuLook can be fully tailored to your site. NuLook uses vBulletin template system, custom CSS and Admin CP settings to control every aspect of NuLook.
