Very nice.

Some points:

shouldnt the protect/unprotect and remove from /add to book blinded out, if you are not authorised to do this?

the NuRatings Manual shows edit and delete to me.

what about a jump to box at the top ob book-articles?

Yes. Indeed. All the editing controls are hidden if you don't have permissions to modify the article or book.

In this case, I had forgotten to adjust the permissions to the NuRatings Docs forum. Check again and let me know. Thanks.

Regarding the Book Index ("jump-to") box. I didn't add it because it doesn't look good when you have the Book Index AND the Table of Contents at the top. I considered floating one to the right, but it can look weird.

NuWiki Auto-Links with AJAX powered previews.
This is interesting. I like the auto-links ideas, but possibly not the AJAX powered previews (I'll have to test this), is it possible to turn off the previews only?

Also can you force a wiki link still even though the "Auto Link" should pick up most terms. For example:

Quote:
The Clarinet is a woodwind instrument which came into popular use in the Classical era.
The words "Clarinet", "Woodwind instrument" should be automatically linked because I have articles with the exact name already. But the word "Classical period" could need redirecting to "Classical Period". So to do this I would need to force the wiki link using the syntax:
Code:
[Classical Period|Classical Era]
I was just thinking if it would be possible for you to define "article aliases" in the admincp. This might be usefull. So you can set up multiple aliases for each article so the Auto-link feature would be more powerfull.

So for example:

Classical Period would have the aliases of:
Classical Era, Classical Music

I'm just throwing some ideas about

Thanks.

The Previews can be enabled/disabled and fully configured from the admin CP. Take a look at NuWiki Admin CP.

The aliases, is an interesting idea. We thought about doing this but were unsure as to the interface and use. For instance we thought on adding a field to the article creation screen. Where you could enter the aliases separated by commas. But we didn't like that the installation would require the modification of yet another template..

For aliases you can simply create a redirect from the article classical era to the article classical period, by placing this in the 'classical era' wiki page:
#REDIRECT classical era

Right?

EDIT: I cant get it unparsed, so you'll have to imagine these things in there: [[]]

I hope that makes it in. I'm waiting for that feature to be there before I purchase.
