One of the features implemented by NuWiki is the Forum Headers.
A Forum Header is similar to a standard vBulletin "forum announcement" -- a semi-permanent notice placed at the top of vB forums.
The difference is that you can permit the content of a NuWiki Forum Header to be edited by your community members. Like a "sticky wiki", if you will.
You can use Forum Headers just as you would a forum announcement; such as, to show a set of links or information relevant to that particular forum.
For instance, a forum header could have a set of links to the most frequently asked questions in your forums, reducing the number of repeat questions by new members, and the common 'Use the search' response they usually get.
Or if you have a shop, you could have links to the appropriate shop category that matches the forum the visitor/member is viewing.
Since a forum header will hold any formatting and syntax supported by NuWiki Articles, you can use it to display images (e.g. banners), or call to actions, etc.
