For some reason I've always thought that Bert has suffered from a bout of depression and just needed some time out. The stress of software support can do that to a man and I've even been through it myself years ago.

But I'm only guessing, of course - anything could have happened.

If you are reading this Bert, I just want to say that you are greatly missed and that there is no shame whatsoever in taking some time off to rest. You have not let us down. You will be welcome back here with open arms and there's nothing at all to be embarrassed about. In fact, we'd all celebrate your return!

Just wanted to say ElfMage / Bert was a great guy and the software he made was really top notch. We really need you back and i am sure people will buy the products if there is some support.

We got hit by a massive spam atttack. All should be gone now. Please report anything that i might have missed.

After one year of moderation here, it is very clear that Bert will not return. Daily spam attacks here are extreme and it does not seem sensible anymore to clean them up.

vbulletin 4 is coming in a few months and will very likely put an end to most products here.

vbulletin 4 will also include SEO, though I do not know to what extent.

I do want nuWiki to be further developed or a new clone to be built.
Likely I will seek an advanced SEO product for vb4 to be coded.
Coders for both projects can be hired in cooperation with others. Let me know...
