rel=nofollow tag not showing in vBulletin archive pages

I wasn't sure where to post this observation of mine regarding the NuHIT URLs: Add rel=nofollow and control where links are opened plugin you posted on vbulletin.org, but i've noticed that although it does indeed place a rel=nofollow links into any posts made by users on vBulletin, for some reason, these nofollow tags are not shown in the archive results.

You can check this out by clicking on 'archive' link shown in the bottom right of most vBulletin forum pages, then checking out a post where you know an external link is within one of the posts.

If this is down to the way vBulletin works, is there any way of adding the necessary code so the rel=nofollow is added into the posts when they are moved into the archive, and if so, where would the code be placed?
