The colors are customizable on the Admin CP. You can select any color combination that fits your site. I chose this carnival of colors to showcase the capabilities....

Yes, indeed. But we didn't know where to put the date and moderation checkbox. For that matter the 'Quote/reply/edit' buttons also were a big question. So we decided to leave them in their default position until a better idea came to mind.
Initially we had the 'Quote/Reply/Edit' buttons at the top (similar to Gaia), but this didn't look good, and a couple of users suggested that we move them back to their original position, which we did.

Well, NuLook doesn't modify your postbit template, instead it uses its own postbit template.
Most of NuLook's postbit template is an exact replica of the default vBulletin template. We just bunched together all the information into a single
div. So, when new versions of vBulletin come up, it takes us 5 minutes to produce a new postbit.
But, you are correct, if customers customize the postbit template extensively, it might be something to consider. However to some extent, this applies whether the site is using NuLook or not.
